Wild animals in the children's room

Guest blog by Melanie Goethals from Studio Paus featuring our Panthera wallpaper!

We bought very little for the boys' room. Two large Ikea (Malm) chests of drawers to exploit the lost space under the alcove and a hand-me-down cot for Ramses. Aster sleeps in the bed that Niels slept in as a baby. A vintage cupboard and bedside table from my great-grandmother and we were good to go! Neutral and down-to-earth, yet cosy and quite okay.

That was until Eline from Roomblush showed me her gorgeous leopard-themed wallpaper. We fell instantly in love with her vintage-look paper and immediately decided to join forces. I mean, how could I say no to a piece of my roots in the nursery?

In exchange for a few rolls of wallpaper, we (read: Niels) set straight to work on the wallpapering, before dragging our boys in front of the camera. You can view the results below. We’re more than satisfied, and Ramses and Aster simply adore the animal details. The only disadvantage? They insist on counting each and every panther before going to sleep… It’s certainly a new take on sheep.
